Welcome 9th Grade Parents!

The Naaman Forest Ranger Band Boosters would like to welcome you to the exciting world of high school band! Many fun and new experiences await your entire family in the year to come, from high-energy half-time shows and thrilling competitions during marching season to the artistry of concert season with the highly anticipated band trip in the spring.

Although being a member of the Mighty Ranger Band is an experience your student will always remember, we know it can all be more than a bit overwhelming for our freshmen and their families. That’s where the Band Booster organization can be a lifesaver.

Our goal of providing a support system for the directors, students, and families begins with establishing a reliable communication network that keeps everyone in the loop. Booster members are included in e-mail groups and have password access to Booster-only portions of the NFHS Band web site. The monthly Booster meetings provide opportunities for parents to meet face to face with the directors and other Booster parents to ask questions, learn about upcoming events, and discover the many additional ways you can play an active role in supporting the band program.

Want to know more? You may contact our Vice President of Membership, Jennifer Artkop with questions or concerns at (972) 414-2850 or by email at artkop@verizon.net.

By working together, we can make 2011 – 2012 a really fun and memorable year for all members of the Mighty Naaman Forest Ranger Band!
