The Jazz Band Performed March 27, 2010 at the Collin College Jazz Festival. The performance was excellent and the band received a great deal of constructive critique from other professional musicians. Well Done!

RECENT AWARDS |
THE STREAK CONTINUES: The Honors Band is bringing home two trophies from New Orleans; one for receiving ALL SUPERIOR RATINGS and the other, and I quote, "humongous one" was received for BEST IN CLASS 5A. CONGRATULATIONS. The Symphonic Band received two trophies as well; one for receiving ALL SUPERIOR RATINGS and the other for BEST IN CLASS, NON-VARSITY BANDS. Congratulations to our talented musicians and Directors.
CONGRATULATIONS: The Honors Band received a 'Sweepstakes' at the UIL Performance; All 'ONE' Ratings for the performance and sight reading. The Symphonic Band did well too, receiving 'ONES' for their performance and a 'two' rating on their sight reading.
CONGRATULATIONS: The Honors Band received a Superior Rating at the Lone Star Showcase of Music
at the Eisemann Center tonight and was runner-up in the Class 5A Division. Congratulations musicians and
directors. |
