Mr. Schnitzer is in his 22nd year as Director of Bands at Naaman Forest High School, and is in his 26th year in the Garland Independent School District. He is a graduate of W.T. White High School in Dallas and the University of Texas at Austin. Bands under Mr. Schnitzer's direction have received 44 consecutive 1st division ratings at U.I.L. marching and concert competitions, and have won 17 contests at both the regional and national levels. Mr. Schnitzer serves as Camp Director for the Garland Middle School Band Camp and is an active member of the Texas Music Adjudicator's Association as well as the Texas Music Educator's Association. He is married to Laura and has one son Jacob and one daughter Jessica.
